Version 9.2.0 - August 2016

New Features and Maintenance

    This minor release includes updates to the account and budget report as requested by customers.
    In response to customer requests for an evaluation copy that can be tried with their own data:
         The evaluation copy now ships with both a demo database and an empty database for use by customers for 60 days in Standard Edition mode.
         The evaluation version will revert to the FREE version in 60 days if a support contract is not purchased.

Bug Fixes

    If report emailing fails due to server incompatibility, CahabaWorks will now display an error message (was crashing).

    This patch release includes updated for compatibility with the changes VANCO made in their production website.
    Performance enhancements for EFT contributions.
    Warning concerning printing W-2 on wrong year forms.

    The 2016 IRS 941 Forms are in this release.

Bug Fixes

    Account report summaries have been added back. The detailed report is now an option.
    Dropdown boxes that were not properly sorted have been updated.
    941 Box 4 not being marked when no FICA withheld has been resolved.
    Some boxes that were being cut off were enlarged (Win10 font issue).

    The 2016 IRS Withholding tables for Federal, State and FICA are updated in this release.

    This release also includes 2016 year-end filing form and reports as well as updates to our online filing capability via our partnership with NELCO Solutions.

    A vendor report for an individual vendor has been added (from Tools...Vendors menu).
    A Contribution date warning has been added if you try to enter something over a year old.

Bug Fixes

    Issues with complex AJE's which use one-sided entries to balance has been resolved.
    Premier Edition register notification issues have been resolved.
    Scheduling of complex AJE transactions has been modified.
    Reconcile issues related to complex AJE transactions has been resolved.

New Features and Maintenance

    CahabaCreek Software announces partnership with Nelco Solutions to provide Electronic Filing of tax forms from CahabaWorks.

    The 2015 year end tax forms are in this release with new e-filing option.

    The 2015 tax withholding tables are updated in this release.

    Several reports have been updated and/or had bug fixes applied.
        This includes: contribution letters, and phone number reports.

    Issues with online giving contribution import have been resolved.



Version 7.1.0 - April 2014

New Features and Maintenance

    The 2014 Payroll 941 form is available in this release.

    CahabaWorks FREE Edition is now the STANDARD Edition, but is unsupported unless a support contract is purchased.

    General:
    ♦  FREE, Small Church and Standard Editions have been combined:  Supported customers were upgraded and/or offered new features (or reduction in support fees)
    ♦  Supported Small Church customers were upgraded to a supported (Standard or GOLD depending on if you currently have Payroll) version of Standard Edition at no cost.
    ♦  Supported Standard customers without Payroll may claim 6 months of GOLD support as a try before you buy. Just let us know!
    ♦  Supported Premier customers now receive Payroll as part of the GOLD support package. Support fees for Premier + Payroll Customers have been lowered.

    2013 Tax Forms and 2014 withholding tables are available in this release.

    The Apple MAC platform is supported when running CahabaWorks in a Virtual PC.

    ♦  Some error messages have been updated to be more detailed.
    ♦  Could not type leap year date as payroll ending date (2/29). Had to use calendar.

    Contributions:
    ♦  Added ability to undeposit and/or reopen batches.

    Financials:
    ♦  Enhancements to Trial Balance Report.

    Members:
    ♦  Print the system primary and personal primary phone numbers for Head of Household (if different).

    Ease of Use:
    ♦  New Renew Support menu item that used stored ChurchID information to fill in the web form.
    ♦  Enhancements to the Update Version menu items.
    ♦  Demo Database now has 2012 data.

Bugs Fixes:

    ♦   Resolved problem with financial data not being saved after a payroll item had been deleted until exit/re-entry.
    ♦   Bank Register list now refreshes automatically when new funds are associated with it.

Bugs Fixes:

    ♦   When entering addresses using the pop-up dialog they were not being saved to the database.
    ♦   Register report did not show split details for deposits.
    ♦   Payroll Items could be deleted even if they were still assigned to an employee.
    ♦   1096 Report for 2011 marked 1099-K instead of 1099-MISC on 2011 forms.
    ♦   1099 formatting issue on bottom of page.
    ♦   Member import created errors in member database.

    Version 5.2.2 removes the Warning message about 2011 tax tables that appeared in the 5.2.1 update! This is the only change.

    ♦  When assigning Grade there is no K-5 in the list.
    ♦  Credit card split not working when only one item placed in split.
    ♦  Funds associated with bank accounts are not treated correctly when an “other deposit” is included on a contribution batch.
    ♦  When pledges are entered it takes a long time for them to be accepted.
    ♦  CW Service crashes when a YEC is requested (Premier Edition)
